> There has been a number of trends seen in the numbers so far.
> The asterisk (i.e. *) denotes a number that I am not sure of, do comment if I have made any errors.
> Sec 2s going for VELOCI-T, please read the notices at the bottommost portion.

> The first and satisfying one is the number of BB boys sent to VELOCI-T per year.
> Those sent in one year would have been training to take over leadership positions the next year (e.g. VELOCI-T 2007 was training for the year 2008).
> Note that for year 2011, the redshirts and blackshirts are pending as their promotion has yet to be confirmed (from junior leaders and senior leaders respectively, which occurs a few weeks after the camp).

2007 - *4 redshirts (Total = 4)
2008 - 2 redshirts (Total = 2)
2009 - 4 redshirts, 1 junior leader (Total = 5)
2010 - 6 redshirts, 1 blackshirt (Total = 7)
2011 - 6 pending redshirts, 3 pending blackshirts, 1 returning blackshirt (Total = 10 - Shaun Lim not going = 9)

> Here are the number of redshirts sent from BB as a percentage of the number of people in each batch.
> Those sent in one year would have been training to take over leadership positions the next year (e.g. VELOCI-T 2007 was training for the year 2008).

2007 - *22.2%
2008 - 16.7%
2009 - 26.3%
2010 - 35.3%
2011 - 50.0%

> This would be the number of PSLs per year from BB.
> It is our hope that this number can be improved, as most people who manage to become PSLs were seen to further develop and enhance their skills for the betterment of themselves and 2nd company.

2008 - 1 (Squad leader in BB)
2009 - Nil
2010 - 3 (1 Squad leader, 1 Chairman, 1 CSM in BB)
2011 - 1 (Squad leader in BB)
2012 - 2 (TBC)

> However the number of people in each batch has been fluctuating for a period of time before dwindling slightly since 2006.
> This pattern may continue for quite some time unless we boost our numbers during the open house. Which means we all have important roles to play this Saturday.
> Those who entered in a year would have been/to be trained for council 2 years later (i.e. The incoming batch in 2006 was trained for council in 2008)

2007 - 12 (1 went IP in 2009)
2008 - 19 (2 went IP in 2010)
2009 - 17 (1 went IP in 2011)
2010 - 12 (2 going to IP come 2012)
2011 - *12
2012 - Target of 17

> Here is a gentle request that every single person play a role in getting as many Founders men as possible.
> Not everyone who is expected to get their Founder award will eventually attain it, so please keep that in mind.
> Note that those in the council in a year will get their award the next year if they qualify.

> Sec 2s who are going: do check your FB inbox between 7 to 8 p.m.today. Some advice and tips will be sent to you guys to explain further why I've used the phrase 'all the best'.

> Those sec 2s who have not been selected to go for VELOCI-T, do not be discouraged, but rather, think about what you've got to improve (e.g. have you been talking away with your other friends when your seniors are making an announcement or giving instructions? Have you been taking the initiative to speak up and give new ideas). If you do so, I say: that's self-leadership right there! (:

BB Week Cards/Leaflets Collection

Hey Guys.

BB Week has been ongoing for about close to 2 weeks now, and I'm very sure that most of you have collected at least some money by now. So please be reminded that BB Week ends on 3rd April. SO COLLECT WHILE YOU CAN!!!

Our Company Treasurer, Officer Philip will come down to the VS/RI/RGS TGIGF Combined Games day on 09/03/11. Please be reminded to bring your cards on that day so that we can hand in to him on time.

BB Day (Part 2)

Hey guys,

There will be a rehearsal tomorrow (11/01/11) from 1535 to 1600. This rehearsal is COMPLUSORY for those who did not come for today's (10/01/11) rehearsal. This rehearsal is important as it includes the wet weather plan (in the hall) and this was not rehearsed last parade.

For the timings to fall in and other details of BB Day, please refer to the parade order.

BB Day

Hey guys,

Welcome back to a new year at BB!!! YAY!!!

Hope you all had a good 9 week break and made good use of it. We're kicking off this year with rehearsals for BB Day, the day when we commemorate the founding of BB in Singapore. And if you have forgotten, or failed your target test multiple times, BB Day Singapore is always held on 12th January. Hence, We will be conducting 4 rehearsals to practise your drill. Here are the following dates:

07/01/11 (Fri) 1330-1430

08/01/11 (Sat) 0900-1030 (During Parade Hours)

10/01/11 (Mon) 1445-1515

11/01/11 (Tues) 1535-1600

These dates are fixed but the timings are tentative. The dismissal time will depend on your punctuality and your performance during the rehearsal. If you perform well during all of the rehearsals, we need not have the tuesday rehearsal. Anyone who has problems with the timings, please contact Chairman Lim Ting Jie.
